Peter is a solicitor and former licensed insolvency practitioner and has specialised in insolvency related matters for over 30 years. He was partner in and head of corporate recovery and insolvency at Lovells until his retirement in 1998. He is a founder member and former president of the Insolvency Lawyer's Association and was a member of the Insolvency Practices Council, the public interest body established in Spring 2000, to review the professional and ethical standards of in insolvency profession.
He has acted as an assessor under the Supreme Court Act in relation to the approval of office holders' fees.
